This policy explains how personal data of people who visit Smart Money Basics is handled under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law. It also gives US visitors, including California residents, the key information about their choices.

2. What data is processed and why
Technical data
When you visit the site, the web server records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time and the pages requested. It is used to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f). The hosting provider is Hostinger.
Emails you send
If you email me, I process what you include so I can reply. The legal basis is your consent when you send the message (art. 6.1.a). I keep it for as long as needed to handle your request and then for any period required by law.
Advertising
This site may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may process data such as cookie identifiers and IP addresses to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, and to personalize ads if you consent. 3. What the site does not do
The site has no user accounts or sign-up forms and does not use its own analytics tools. The calculators run in your browser and do not send or store what you type.
4. Who receives data, and transfers outside the EEA
Data may be accessible to the hosting provider and to Google, as described above. It is not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it. When these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, they do so with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
5. Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to santi.auto2000@gmail.com. If you think your data is not being handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to your local authority.
6. US visitors, including California
Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" or "sale" of personal information under some US state privacy laws. Where required, the consent tool shown on this site lets you opt out. You can also manage ad personalization at Google's ad settings. This site does not knowingly sell personal information in exchange for money.

The site is not directed to children under 16.
